I'm Amanda. 

I'm a lost twenty-something trying to find my way like everybody else.

I started this blog to be able to connect to all the amazing people out there that I normally would never have the chance to interact with; 

to have the freedom to write whatever I want and tell whatever stories I want; 

to unleash all this pent-up creativity inside of me that has to stay inside during my daily 9-5; 

to feel a sense of belonging in a community of total strangers; 

to share my journey with others in hopes that we can all relate to the same struggles and successes; 

to have an excuse to drink more wine and take more pictures!

10 Things About Me!

1. I'm a classic know-it-all. You can see it in my face even as a baby. Most of the time I won't say it to your face if you're wrong, but I'll definitely be thinking it and judging you accordingly.

2. I went to school for accounting and currently work in accounting. I thought I wanted to be an accountant. Now I'm not so sure.

3. I have two brothers: 1 older, 1 younger. I should act like a middle child but I don't. Because my brother is 6 years older than I am, it creates a new family dynamic, enabling me with all the tendencies of an older child (just a little sociology lesson for you, which I also went to school for but that's a story for another day).

4. I have one cat and one dog. I love them both, but I am proud to say that I am 100%, without a doubt,  no-turning-back-now, a cat person, and I don't care who knows it!

5. My favourite piece of clothing in the world is pajamas - hence the name of this blog. The minute I come home from work, before I do anything else, I immediately put on pajamas. If you come over unannounced, it's almost guaranteed that I will be in pajamas. It doesn't matter what time of day it is, if I'm home, I'm wearing my pjs.

6. I have been dying my hair since elementary school and I don't really know what my natural hair colour is. I've mostly stuck with blonde, but I did try brown a few winters ago. It was short-lived.

7. I love dressing up, wearing makeup, and doing my hair. You might not think so because of said blog name and my love affair with pajamas, but it's true. I have tons of dresses and high heels, I watch makeup and hair tutorials on youtube all the time, and I'm constantly looking things up online. The problem is pretty simple: I'm lazy.

8. My friends are starting to settle down and I'm nowhere close to that. And I am perfectly happy with that.

9. I still have perfumes from when I was in elementary school. They're not used up because I don't wear perfume that often. I don't want to throw them away because they're still fine and I still like the smell.

10. In case you haven't noticed from my spelling (you will now), I'm Canadian.
