Blogger Giveaway!

So there's something really exciting going on right now. A brand new blogger giveaway. I know what you're thinking: yes, exciting, but we see them all the time, yada yada yada. Well, this one is different kids. This giveaway is something I have been dreaming about without even really knowing I've been dreaming of it because I didn't know it existed. Well now it does. The giveaway is free blog advice!!!! How awesome is that? Erin from Two Thirds Hazel came up with this great idea and I am forever grateful that there are creative minds out there like hers who think outside the box. I have been stalking Erin for quite some time now so it's kind of weird to be writing a blog post about her. I feel like a creeper writing in my diary about my crush who has no idea I exist. Such a cool idea right?

As a newlogger (nlogger? blewger? new blogger is what I'm trying to say), I can't even describe how much I appreciate when established bloggers give advice. It's so much appreciated. This whole blogging thing can seem very overwhelming at times. What do I write about? Do people care? Is my life even that interesting? How do I attract more readers? How in the hell do I do a giveaway? Do I have anything to give away? What's going on here??

The questions you ask yourself are endless. The good thing is everyone seems so welcoming and willing to give you advice. I have read a few posts already about blogging advice and the most common thing everyone keeps saying is basically be yourself. This is the theme I'm going to try to abide by. I catch myself sometimes wondering, "is this funny enough? does it sound ok?" and then I think, you know what, that's how I would say it in real life, so just put it out there and see what happens. And then I feel better. And then I pour myself another glass of wine.
